Grain-Free Italian "Breadcrumbs"

2 C almond meal

1/4 C flax meal

1 T Italian seasoning

1 t salt

1/2 t pepper

1 t onion powder


  1. Combine ingredients in a dry skillet over medium heat

  2. Stir continuously for about 5-8 mins until the mixture is golden brown, this takes awhile at first, but then happens quickly so be ready!

  3. The continuous stirring will help all the crumbs to become brown, and to keep them from burning.

  4. Cool completely for storing in an airtight container or use immediately!

  5. Enjoy.
